Jessica officially closed and sold her home on Feb. 2. It was a big decision, exciting, and even a little sad to know she would be moving out of the house she has lived the longest amount of time in, and was such a big milestone in her life when she bought it as a single mom in 2009. Jessica has moved every year to two years in her life, sometimes more often than once a year, but when she bought her home in 2009, and has lived there for the last 6 and half years, it felt good to be settle for a while. However, with the need for space and our growing family, this is the right choice, and one she is happy to make to help Jack move the family forward. We are a team, and both agree it is time for a change. Our new home is the Allison home, a home we build and buy together, and feel so blessed to do so. We have sunk every penny we have and then some into it, but it's totally worth it for us growing and moving forward in life as a couple and family. Our new home is ready to move into. We signed the closing papers on March 10, the final walkthrough is at 2 today, and should have the keys by 4pm today! We are excited to have a little more space, and a room for baby girl. William is really happy to have a new bedroom to play in, and calls his new closet a fort. Jack is excited for the living room that will allow us to have just a bit more space for sharing Jessica’s photo studio and a place for us to have some family room. Jessica is excited for the new kitchen, loves the windows in the dining room, a bigger master bathroom and closet, a little more room for her photo studio, and most importantly right now for little baby girl’s bedroom. She can’t wait to set up her room, although we know once baby girl is here she will be in our room for the most part since we are planning on a co-sleeping arrangement for a while. March is a crazy month, March madness for sure! We have all caught a bug that has made us sick the last few weeks, William is taking singing lessons, acting in a Peter Pan play, taking a mid-term test for taekwondo, and also working on a YouTube web series show called The Gratitude Clan. Jessica does the photography for the show and will also be volunteering to do the photography for the Peter Pan play, and with moving, well March is a heck of a month, but we are counting our blessings and filled with joy to be moving into our new home! The only things left on the new house to be completed are the grass and exterior paint, a small portion of the fence, but those will be finished once the weather gets better, probably in May. We will post an update in a few weeks. New House Under Construction!New House Tour!Love,
